First, you attach a UHF RFID tag to each asset and link it to a digital ID. Then, fixed RFID readers at doorways or transition points detect tags as they pass by. Two antennas per gate decide if the asset is moving in or out. The reads are stored on a local edge server first, then synced to the secure cloud, where they get enriched with location and timestamp data.
